What Is An Essential Oil?
Plants contain complex and powerful substances known as essential oils. These are aromatic liquids derived from shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes, and seeds. These distinctive components defend plants from insects, harsh environmental conditions, and disease. They are also vital for a plant to grow, live, evolve, and adapt to its surroundings. Referred to as the essence of the plant or the “immune system of the plant”, pure essential oils not only protect the plant, but also determine its aroma.
Essential oils have been used throughout time dating back to 4500 BC. From perfumes and aromatherapy to cooking and medicinal purposes, essential oils have been used in everyday life for centuries. How to Sign up/Order with Young Living Essential Oils
You have 3 options: You may enroll as a Retail Customer, Wholesale member or as a Distributor.
Retail Customer: Purchase products at full retail prices.
Wholesale Member: As a wholesale member you qualify for wholesale prices which is a 24% off products.
As a wholesale member, you are under no monthly obligation to purchase, sell, or distribute products. You just need to order a Young Living Starter Kit and purchase 50 PV in an annual year to maintain your wholesale membership.
Wholesale Distributor Member -A Wholesale Member who purchases a Young Living Starter Kit and participates in the Young Living business building opportunity, as detailed in the company’s Compensation Plan.
You will be assigned your own member Number to use in either ordering products or referring others. Young Living is a referral based business opportunity. You don’t need to stock and retail products. Just share information and refer people with your member number.

Ordering any of the starter kits will get you a wholesale membership (as low as a $45 one-time cost), but by far, we recommend starting with the Premium Starter Kit. Signing Up As A Young Living Wholesale Member
1. Click over to the sign-up page.
2. Select “Sign Up As: Young Living Wholesale Member”
3. The “Enroller ID” and “Sponsor ID” boxes should already be auto-populated for you. (If for some reason it is not, use number 2885356)
4. Fill out your name, billing address, shipping address, and contact information. (The reason you are asked to list your social security number is for tax purposes. If you make over $600/year selling Young Living products, you will receive a 1099 form in the mail, as is required by law. Young Living will never share this info with anyone.)
5. Create your password and pin which you will use to log in to your account and order your oils.
6. Select your enrollment order. This is where you can specify which starter kit you would like (and you know I think the Premium Kit is the way to go!). You must sign up with one of these kits to become a Wholesale Member. To maintain your 24% discount going forward, you only need to spend $50 each subsequent year with Young Living on any product in their store. That’s it! You can also purchase other items at this time if you wish.
7. Set up your *optional* Essential Rewards Program. Now don’t be confused by this next step. Buying one of the ER kits is not a requirement to sign up as a Wholesale Member! This is a rewards program you can opt into to start earning money back to help pay for your oils. At this point, you can skip this step by selecting “No, thank you. I plan on enrolling in the Essential Rewards Program later”. If you are interested in one of the ER kits that has been packaged to be a best value then add this to your order and it will be shipped with your kit. However, you do not have to pick one of these kits to get started on Essential Rewards. You can go in and set up ER at any time and hand pick the items you want each month. You can pick and choose any single oils, blends, supplements, health and beauty products, etc.
8. Agree to Terms & Conditions.
9. CONFIRM YOUR ORDER. I have had many folks miss this step and end up not fully checking out. To confirm, the tool will log you in and it will show you your order again and it will make you enter in your payment information again. We wouldn’t want that to happen because then you would not get your oils!
